Something entrepreneurial — I have always dreamed of creating and owning my own business. The foodie in me would love to be a food stylist or a recipe developer.
Going to New York City and pitching travel to New Orleans to editors of big glossy publications.
Or, assisting in the placement of a story about how the Vietnamese shrimping communities in New Orleans are adapting to climate change. The article ended up being the cover story for the November 2019 issue of Saveur Magazine.
Both of these are career accomplishments that I’m proud of.
