Galatoire’s Returns to Lunch and Dinner Service on Tuesdays
The restaurant will be open six days a week starting March 12
NEW ORLEANS, La. (March 5, 2024) – Galatoire’s Restaurant is pleased to announce the return of lunch and dinner service on Tuesdays. Patrons can enjoy all their classic favorites six days a week such as Oysters Rockefeller, Soufflé Potatoes, Meuniére Amandine Fried Gulf Fish and more beginning March 12. The restaurant has been operating five days a week since reopening following the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We feel now is the time to get back to our traditions. For nearly 120 years, Galatoire’s was only closed on Mondays. We are now at a point where we are doing the same amount of business in five days that we used to do in six days pre-pandemic,” said Melvin Rodrigue, president of Galatoire’s Restaurant. “Our patrons have been asking for this and it is a wonderful growth opportunity for us.”
Rodrigue notes the appetite in the city for more establishments to be open early in the week is hearty and this signals the general upward swing the New Orleans restaurant industry is experiencing as a whole.
Galatoire’s is open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner with private dining options available seven days a week. Reservations can be made at galatoires.com.
