What got you into PR?

As a kid, I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. My career aspirations were all over the place. One day I wanted to be a nurse and the next day I was plotting to open my own business on Magazine Street. What drew me to Public Relations was the excitement of being able to work with clients in any industry! In a sense, public relations professionals have to be a “Jack (or Jill) of all trades.” We are always learning in order to communicate client messages in the best way possible which is something that I love about my career.

What are you most proud of?

I’ve had some once-in-a-lifetime experiences working at The Ehrhardt Group and find myself looking back at our work with pride all of the time. From securing media tours and handling onsite media for WrestleMania 34 to serving as boots-on-the-ground support for Walmart in El Paso, I am constantly proud of the work that we do and how we are able to work hand-in-hand with our clients. I am also proud of the professional and personal growth I have found here over the years.

What are some things most people don’t know about you?

I was in musical theater for years. I’m grateful for my experiences and know that it helped mold me. Attending late night rehearsals and performing on stage in front of a lot of people taught me discipline and self-confidence. I am also pretty artistic. I love to draw, paint and craft whenever I have free time.

What was college like for you?

I would not change my college experience for the world! I attended The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg where I was heavily involved in my sorority and campus life. My professors in the School of Mass Communications did a great job preparing me and Hattiesburg will always be my second home.

What do you do for fun outside the office?

In New Orleans…we live to eat. If you ask anyone that knows me, they will tell you that I am a huge foodie! In my free time, I love to try new restaurants and hot spots in the city. I actually keep a running list of places I want to try.
