After very successful pop ups across New Orleans, Chef Garcia, Jr. is bringing his innovative culinary creations to The Roosevelt. From BBQ shrimp and molasses smoked ribs to chicken satay and market fish tostadas, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. To quench guests’ thirst, The Roosevelt’s Rooftop Bar staff will be serving Frozen Kahlua Mudslides and Fireball Cider as $10 specialty cocktails. Locals and visitors alike are invited to feast on some of one-of-a-kind cuisine while enjoying the newly renovated pool deck.
“New Orleans is known worldwide as a culinary destination,” said Tod Chambers, General Manager of The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria Hotel. “We’re excited to showcase a talented local artist like Chef Adolfo Garcia, Jr. We take pride in supporting what makes our community so unique, which includes unforgettable culinary experiences.”
In addition to the pool deck renovations, the hotel is near completion on its overall $20 million transformation, which includes its meeting spaces and guest rooms. The hotel completely transformed these spaces, while still holding true to its storied New Orleans history. All 504 guest rooms are on track to be renovated by the end of 2019.
“It’s exciting to be able to present my culinary creations at such an iconic New Orleans venue like The Roosevelt Hotel,” said Chef Adolfo Garcia, Jr. “I’m looking forward to locals and tourists alike coming to the pop up to enjoy delicious food and drinks in a great atmosphere.”
Access to the Fall Chef Pop-up Series is free and open to the public. Dish prices range from $8.00 – $14.00.
