The Ehrhardt Group (TEG) is the No. 1 public relations firm in the Gulf South, trusted by organizations that need smart strategy, credible counsel and deep regional insight. As we continue to grow our business across a wide span of industries, we are seeking a full-time Marketing Manager whose sole responsibility will be to market The Ehrhardt Group itself.
This role does not support client accounts. Instead, it exists to ensure that TEG’s expertise, perspective and leadership are consistently visible to the audiences most likely to need us, whether they know it yet or not.
This is a foundational role for the firm. You will help build and operate the systems, content and visibility efforts that widen the gap between TEG and the next-best alternative in our region.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity for a motivated early-career marketer to help shape the voice, visibility and market position of a top-tier agency. You will work directly with the President of the firm and manage a small group of external vendors to ensure TEG shows up consistently, credibly and strategically in the marketplace.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning outcomes, values consistency over flash, and wants to grow alongside a firm that takes its thinking, and its reputation, seriously.
What You’ll Do
Execute and refine TEG’s internal marketing strategy and positioning.
Maintain and grow TEG’s prospect database using a CRM.
Develop and manage consistent organic content tied to TEG’s insights and expertise.
Support speaking engagements and thought leadership for senior leaders.
Coordinate website updates, SEO/GEO efforts, and performance tracking.
Manage external marketing vendors and keep projects moving forward.
Qualifications
0–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Strong writing skills and editorial judgment.
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning outcomes.
Interest in professional services, public relations, and thought leadership.
Ability to think strategically while executing consistently.
Work Environment and Mobility Requirements
This is a hands-on, internally focused role that supports The Ehrhardt Group’s visibility, thought leadership and brand presence in the marketplace. While the position is not client-facing, it does require engagement outside the office. Candidates must have:
Reliable personal transportation.
The ability and willingness to drive locally and regionally within the Gulf South to support speaking engagements, events, conferences and firm initiatives.
Flexibility to attend occasional early morning, evening and limited overnight commitments tied to marketing and visibility efforts.
Comfort working across a mix of office-based work and on-site support as needed.
This role is best suited for candidates who enjoy being actively involved in bringing a brand to life, not those seeking a fully remote or exclusively desk-based position.
What TEG Offers
Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including employer-sponsored health care and 401(k) matching.
Flexible work policy and paid time off starting in year one.
A fast-paced, collaborative environment with high standards and strong mentorship.
Opportunities for professional growth, training and advancement.
Support for involvement in professional, civic and community organizations.
