Senior Account Executives and Account Supervisors


Account Executives (AEs) at The Ehrhardt Group (TEGPR) have the opportunity to execute media relations, community events, branded content creation and general PR initiatives for some of the world’s most well-known companies in one of the world’s greatest cities. AEs are responsible for general writing, research and coordination activities within designated account teams and perform other duties in the daily servicing of client accounts.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in AP Style
  • Developed understanding of basic public relations skills, specifically media relations, community relations and client relations
  • Familiarization with news media – including electronic, social and print delivery systems
  • Poise in personal interactions with clients and media
  • Capability take direction well and lead others when needed
  • Motivation in a team environment
  • Desire to exceed expectations in designated role
  • Showcase strong organizational skills, particularly time management
  • Initiative, attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • Understanding of current issues for clients and industry trends
  • An interest in the economic and cultural framework of New Orleans, the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the Gulf South
  • Working knowledge of community and business leadership
  • A problem-solving approach to issues, and begin to understand how to manage client exposures


At TEGPR, AEs will interact with the media, collaborate as a team, write extensively and work with clients each and every day. Specifically, AEs can look forward to accomplishing the below on a day-to-day basis:

  • Write extensively, including press releases and media advisories
  • Develop creative media angles
  • Research and pitch relevant media contacts to secure stories on clients’ behalf
  • Track success through media coverage reports
  • Monitor public opinion as it relates to clients initiatives and success
  • Plan and execute client events
  • Facilitate media interviews with clients
  • Develop strong relationships with local, regional, national and international media contacts
  • Execute engaging social media plans to increase clients’ social profiles, including development of branded content
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings
  • Manage multiple projects for multiple clients, meeting deadlines and earning results for each


  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing or a liberal arts, business or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2-3 years previous experience, agency environment preferred
