What got you into this business?

I’ve always been a people person. I love connecting with others and sharing stories. I’m really driven by my passion for helping people and staying involved in my community, and I’m excited to channel that energy into supporting businesses across New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. Growing up, I was also inspired by the strong, dynamic women I saw working in
communications in some of my favorite shows and movies, and that admiration is what ultimately sparked my interest in this field.

If you weren’t in PR, what would you be doing?

As a little girl, I was convinced I’d be a fashion designer. But when I got to college, I started out as a science major, then explored fashion merchandising and kinesiology before eventually finding my way to PR. During that time, I was working as a toddler teacher at a local preschool, and I loved it so much that I seriously considered staying in education after graduating from LSU. So if I wasn’t in PR, I’d probably be a preschool teacher… though I’d still daydream about other random careers like interior designer, Pilates instructor, or stay-at-home daughter… you name it.

Where did you grow up and what was it like?

I grew up in Pineville, Louisiana, a small town right in the center of the boot. While some people might not think it’s that small, it definitely felt like it. Everyone knew everyone (or at least knew of everyone), and life was a quiet mix of city and country. I grew up in the suburbs, spent weekends taking long drives just for fun, and had to plan for a 20–30-minute trip to get to Target or Chick-fil-A. And yes, I had an accent… and it still slips out every now and then. Moving to a big city was a huge adjustment. I spent four years in Baton Rouge for college before moving to New Orleans in 2023. While I sometimes miss the slower pace of home, all of my parents’ pets, and the endless supply of Mexican restaurants, I’ve fallen in love with the energy, creativity, and community I’ve found here.

What do you like to do outside of the office?

I love hanging out with my friends and exploring everything New Orleans has to offer. Whether we’re shopping, trying a new restaurant or grabbing drinks, there’s always something fun to do. A few of my favorite spots are Matcha Magic, Hot Tin and The Delachaise. I’m also a big fan of music and theatre, so you can usually find me at the Saenger during Broadway season or booking tickets to my next concert or festival. After work, I like to clear my head with a workout or a long walk around Audubon Park. Lately, I’ve also been loving my “grandma” outings like trivia nights and bingo.
