If you weren’t in PR, what would you be doing?
I’ve always held an interest in journalism, specifically investigative journalism. I like to imagine I would be the type of journalist who prioritizes truths and facts, no matter what the consequence or the public opinion may be at the time.
What talent do you wish you had?
I love music so I have always wanted to sing. As a child, I was blissfully unaware of my total lack of musical talent until I decided to try out for choir. While confidently belting out my solo, it only took the music teacher 5 seconds to stop me and simply ask, “Why are you here?” Before I could answer she calmly thanked me for my time and asked me to leave. While she could stop me from singing in the choir, she did not stop me from singing along to my favorite tunes at every chance I get.
Favorite sports team?
I was born and raised in New Orleans so I will always be a Saints fan.
What’s your favorite travel destination?
I can’t say I have a favorite travel destination; however, one of my most memorable and unique experiences was when I traveled to Africa. I started in Cape Town, South Africa, then traveled to Zimbabwe and Zambia to see Victoria Falls and finished the trip off with a 3-day safari. Having the opportunity to see the animals in their natural environment was an indescribable feeling. Everything from the landscape, the sunsets, the culture, the food, the people – the whole trip – was a magical and unforgettable experience.
What do you do for fun outside of the office?
I enjoy horseback riding, watching documentaries with my husband, relaxing in my backyard with my pets, and spending time at the beach.
