THE EHRHARDT GROUP EXPANDS EXPERTISE IN THE GULF SOUTH
NEW ORLEANS – (Jan. 19, 2021) – The Ehrhardt Group (TEG) today announced the promotion of Katie Mitchell to account supervisor, Traci D. Howerton to senior account executive and the hiring of Julia Hollings as account executive.

As account supervisor, Katie Mitchell provides strategic counsel and media relations expertise to assist clients with their public relations and public affairs objectives, while also closely supervising activities of team members to ensure quality in the work produced and that client goals are achieved. A large portion of Mitchell’s client roster includes oil, gas and chemical industry leaders. She also works with financial institutions, health care professionals and the local legal community. Prior to joining TEG, she spent more than four years working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Mitchell graduated from Tulane University with a major in political science and minor in history.
As senior account executive, Traci D. Howerton provides senior-level strategy and guidance, and executes media, community outreach and grassroots initiatives on behalf of clients in the oil and gas, health care and hospitality industries. She also works closely with TEG leadership to further internal marketing efforts for the firm. She has 20 years of experience in public relations, media relations, account management and advertising. Prior to joining TEG, she worked as a business consultant with an emphasis on brand management, media and public relations. Howerton received her B.A. in mass communication from Nicholls State University, with a concentration in public relations and broadcast journalism. She earned her M.A. in history from the University of New Orleans.
Julia Hollings executes the day-to-day strategic efforts to move client projects and campaigns ahead. She works with a diverse range of clients in the hospitality, entertainment and oil and gas industries, as well as corporate and public entities throughout the Gulf South. Prior to joining TEG, Hollings worked on the communications and public relations team at New Orleans & Company, formerly the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). She attended the College of Charleston where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
