BROADWAY MAKES BLOCKBUSTER RETURN FOR 2022-2023 SEASON

NEW ORLEANS – (April 5, 2022) – Broadway in New Orleans has announced the 2022 – 2023 schedule of performances playing at The Saenger Theatre beginning this fall. The upcoming season, which will feature the debut of MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL in 2022 and Aaron Sorkin’s record-breaking new adaptation of Harper Lee’s TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, also includes stellar performances of DISNEY’S THE LION KING, DR. SEUSS’ HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL, SIX, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, TINA —THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. The much-anticipated season kicks off in October with PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL.

Saenger Theatre

Originally built in 1927, the Saenger Theatre was designed to reflect a magnificent 15th century Italian courtyard and gardens, with a starlit evening sky ceiling, arched surroundings, statuary, columns and decorative moldings.
