Delgado Community College and Chevron Unveil Fab Lab NOLA to Cultivate STEM Education in Greater New Orleans Area
Delgado Community College and Chevron, in partnership with The Fab Foundation, celebrated the grand opening of Fab Lab NOLA. Fab Lab NOLA is a hands-on, dedicated space for STEM-based learning. Thanks to this fabrication lab, kindergarten through 12th grade students, post-secondary students, as well as community members now have access to engineering-inspired processes and manufacturing to create almost anything they can imagine. Fab Lab NOLA was made possible through a $1 million contribution by Chevron, part of the company’s $10 million commitment to the Fab Foundation in 2014.
