The Galatoire Foundation Presents Edible Schoolyard New Orleans and The Good Shepherd School with Funds Raised From Galatoire’s Holiday Table Auctions
On Friday, March 17, the Galatoire Foundation presented proceeds from this year’s table auctions to community partners, Edible Schoolyard New Orleans and The Good Shepherd School.
Proceeds from the Galatoire’s table auctions will help Edible Schoolyard continue in its mission to teach children to make healthy connections through food. Galatoire’s table auction donations will also contribute to The Good Shepherd School’s efforts to provide low-income urban youth with an extended-day, year-round, quality education, integrated with personal, moral and spiritual development, and continued guidance during the students’ further education.
This year, Galatoire’s raised more than $150,000, surpassing more than $1.2 million dollars raised since the inception of its now-famous holiday table auctions.
In addition to coordinating this event and handling media logistics, The Ehrhardt Group handled outreach efforts surrounding the table auctions to help spread the word. This was the most successful year to date.
