TEG Client News: Wizard World Comic Con 2020 Brings Pop-Culture Fans From Across the Region to NOLA Convention Center
TegPR started the New Year (and new decade) with helping to connect pop-culture, entertainment, gaming, art and more with fans from across the region to the tenth annual Wizard World Comic Con at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Jan 3 – 5, 2020. One of the most important and effective tactics we execute on a daily basis is media relations; we work with the news media to develop and secure creative media stories that tell our client’s stories.
For this event, we secured pre-event and on-site media opportunities that highlighted Wizard World Comic Con’s celebrity and special guests including Sam Heughan, John Glover, Michael Rosenbaum, Erica Durance – as well as other interactive exhibits fans were able to experience during the three-day convention.
Our efforts proved to be successful – Wizard World Comic Con attracted thousands of fans to its 2020 event. Our media relations efforts yielded news coverage on all four local television stations, The Times-Picayune| New Orleans Advocate, Gambit Weekly, plus radio interviews and numerous hits on a variety of digital news sites, blogs and social media pages.
